Vincent van Gogh is the famous post- impressionist painter who lived in the XIX century. He was born in the Netherlands and almost entire life he lived in France where he died. He was quite thoughtful, hurtable and complicated man. He did not get academic education, so he started work in the British Art company « Goupil &Сo». In that time Vincent van Gogh had some problems with mental health, so he quit the job in the company. After that he entered the missionary school in the Amsterdam and then work as a preacher in Belgium. He helped pour families, taught children and sometimes drew maps of Palestine for money. Also he helped workers to assert their rules. For that activity he had been quit. In that period he drew paintings in the expressional way using dark colors. After some time he moved in Paris to his younger brother Teo. Here Vincent met with famous post-impressionists as Camille Pissarro, Oscar-Claude Monet, Auguste Renoir and others. He got a new view on the painting and started to draw the pictures in the bright colors. The most famous paintings by Vincent van Gogh are «The Starry Night», «Sunflowers», «Irises», «Café Terrace At Night», «Self-Portrait With Bandaged Ear», «Potato Eaters», «Bedroom In Arles», «Wheatfield With Cypresses» and others.
